Try This with Your Eyes Closed is the first release by the post-hardcore band Alesana. It was released on mid 2005 with all of Alesana's original members and produced by Shawn. Every song in the EP has been re-released on later releases except for "Not a Single Word About This" . The EP was re-issued and re-mastered by Jamie King with two tracks off of an early sampler called "All The Tragedy Money Can Buy". Unlike Alesana's other releases, there are few allusions to mythology within the themes of the lyrics.
